Another Crash ..... -__-

Yes please. Just some little taste of a server. Like singleplayer without the loneliness.

I use to have a server... just for a day. And now it wont work no matter what I do... So I guess I cant do anything (its probably my computer, its pretty old)

Does it cost a lot of money to run a server? Or any at all?

Its free, all u need is a really good computer though, and knowledge on port fowarding (just check in Youtube, thats what i did to set up my server)

And look how that turned out. JK. Anyway I couldn't. I don't have the time, the attention span, the knowledge, the computer, or anything really needed to make one. Heck i'm not even that good at building.

I don't I just wanted to know how much it cost to run one. I always thought it did cost some money. Are plugins a charge? Probly not.

Either something is just buggy with bukkit right now or its something with matts computer. But if it was matts computuer i think i would rather have more uptime then have a little slower server.

I think a new version came out on monday for 1.7.3 Idk if it might help. I was trying to read on the problem and it sounded like it was because of ether RAM usage or HDD usage (cant remember) ether way I wanna help donate toward a better server. If all users give like 10 dollars it would help a lot. I made the suggestion but Matt doesn't have paypal or a bank account. Though, I think most of the players don't have a bank account and the people who they could have donate money would think it's a scam or wouldn't trust them. Good idea like communism.

Well I have 10$, but the only way I could transfer it would be through my mom and it would be hard to explain to her that I want to give ten dollars to a 16 year old boy I don't even know so that I can spend more time in my room.

Exactly. Idk how many people could actually pitch in. It adds up but if only 5 people donate $10 we might buy a new hard drive or a couple gigs of RAM.

Well I actually think the problem, partly is, not enough authority on the server. Matt has been off far too much so he needs to appoint moderators. Luckily a few people are applying *cough cough* ME *cough cough* so we should probably couch *cough cough* for me *cough cough* to help better the server. Also bukkit is apparently having problems.

There are people other than yourselves that have been waiting for approval for becoming moderators far longer than you armine. But I do agree that there should be atleast 1 or 2 mods on the sever along with matt.

You can move your server to another port right? if so matt should host a vanilla server too. If the main one goes down go to the other. I believe his system is stacked enough to support two instances. This will also test if it has to do with the system, the software, or bukkit.

King are you ensuing that I am trying to promote my moderator application? I am appalled.

Will these crashes ever end......? -_- I just wanna play minecraft on this server, come on! This is ridiculous!
